Thumbs Up or Down – Gerard Cosmetics Edition | Youtube Review

gerard cosmetics lipstick review 1995, Buttercup, Cherry Cordial, Grape Soda, Nude, Sangria, Underground, Vintage Rose

Hi y’all!

Finally, another video is up on our Youtube Channel! If you haven’t subscribed to our channel, please do so! It means a lot to us and it will motivate us to do more videos! ❤

We have been always so curious about the Gerard Cosmetics brand that has been trending on the social network for quite a while. We always like to support smaller brands because we think they deserve to have more exposure and breakthrough the internet market!

Back in February, we found a great deal on their site for 40$ USD for 5 lipsticks. So we both bought 5 lipsticks each and tried them out. We got the following shades: 1995, Buttercup, Cherry Cordial, Grape Soda, Nude, Sangria, Underground, & Vintage Rose.

The lipsticks we got have different types of textures: matte, satin and creamy. The formula of all the lipsticks is really comfortable, and very creamy. They don’t dry out your lips and have minor transfer. However, the downside of them was the pigmentation. Especially when they are brand new, we had to layer the colour to build the colour on our lips. The smell is a little sweet yet chemical, and we are not a fan of lipsticks with scents. The bullet has a strong smell but when you apply the smell fades over time, which is not that bad.

When we received the lipsticks, we both receive 1-2 lipsticks with shimmer on them. The Buttercup one arrived with sparkles on it but after a week, they faded away. Which we find very strange. As for Marika’s Sangria, the shimmer stayed till now. Very strange…

So thumbs up or down?? All other information and swatches are in the video. Watch the video for our thoughts if we recommend it 😉 Enjoy!
