Shop Miss A Double Haul!

Now that you know all about the magic of Shop Miss A (click here for review of the site), let us tell you more precisely about the products we ordered. This is what Melissa got: 2 individual eyeshadow from Princessa. One in a warm brown #836 and cool taupe brown “Clay” #819. When I received them, I found out it comes with a 2 ends applicator which is pretty cool for the price I paid. The packaging of the shadows is absolutely very cute and good quality 2 metallic liquid and pencil all-in-one After Ego from Kleancolour in silver and gold. At first, I thought it was only liquid liners. When I received them, I found out there’s a retractable pencil together! Surprise! 3 makeup brushes from e.l.f: blending brush, eyeshadow brush and a smudge brush. A matte & shimmer duo palette from Kleancolor in 02 Alluring Touch. Needed an affordable palette with neon colours. It would be nice to create a neon colour look sometimes without wasting money on expensive shadows! A nail clipper. Yes, …

Shop Miss A Makeup Nails Haul Shopmissa.com

Obsessed With: ShopMissA.com !

Last month we have discovered a very COOL site where you can buy makeup, accessories, makeup tools, nail polishes, all those goodies that fall under the beauty umbrella for 1$ USD. Yes, 1 DOLLARRR! So basically, around 1,30$ CAD. And also we call it a double haul because we both purchased things separately from ShopMissA. We have already tried out a few things and we will leave our review on different posts, so stay tuned! Before starting off talking about the things we bought, here are some of our thoughts on general points:

Dior Lip Glow Colour Reviver Balm Review

Revive Your Natural Lips with Dior’s Addict Lip Glow?

Talking about magic, you all! Last month, I got this wonderful gift, something that I’ve never experienced before and never heard of before! This Dior Addict Lip Glow is very magical and I think it is worth to share with you what I have to say about this lipstick. The Dior Addict Lip Glow is a balm to hydrate your lips and revive your natural lip colour. The line comes in 2 shades, in sheer natural pink and sheer coral pink. The one I received is in sheer natural pink. When you apply it, it gives a very beautiful and natural shine.

Caudalie Skincare Obsession

Obsessed With: Caudalie!

Let’s be honest: who doesn’t love wine? Especially when it takes care of your skin! This is exactly what Mathilde Thomas and her husband had in mind when they founded Caudalie, the cosmetics brand originating from Bordeaux, France. Born in a family that owns a vineyard, Mathilde quickly realized the rich potential of grapes. Together with Professor Vercauteren, one of the world’s specialists in polyphenols (the magic ingredient that is found in grape seeds), they formulated a few face creams that were initially sold in pharmacies in Bordeaux. They quickly set up their own team of researchers, in order to offer the best of what grapes have to offer. But why are grapes so special? They contain polyphenols, powerful anti-oxidants that act as amazing skin youth protectors. Grapes also contain resveratrol, a powerful anti-ageing agent, and viniferine, the most effective natural molecule that fights dark spots. The company’s ethics are also impeccable: in 2006, they removed parabens from all products, and they are also very committed to ecology. Read more about this here. With so many …

Obsessed Origins

Obsessed With: Origins!

I try my best to be an ecological person (see my post on the MakeUp Eraser), which is why I always try to find planet-friendly options when it comes to my beauty routine. When I heard about Origins, I knew I would love this company. Not only are their products made mostly with natural ingredients (actual plants), but also they work with organizations to plant trees, they have a container recycling program (the first in the cosmetics industry) and the products are manufactured using renewable sources. What else could you ask for? Here are some of Origins’ products that I have adopted and that are part of my daily routine now. “Drink Up” Hydrating Lip Balm in “Berry Splash”. The product is thick -like a balm and not like a gloss-, and it has a nice, faint minty smell which is great. It leaves a nice shimmer on the lips and is a natural-looking colour. “GinZing” Brightening Mascara to Lengthen & Lift in “Black”. Big thick wand that truly lengthens the lashes. This mascara leaves lashes natural-looking …

New Skincare Routine: Ole Henriksen’s ‘The Works’

Hello fellow readers, hope y’all doing well! Today I would like to share with you the new skincare routine I’ve adopted since a month! During my new year’s resolution, I told myself I should really start taking care of my own skin. I really have large pores and oily skin with dry areas due to eczema. I can’t use random products without researching first because my skin is so oily that I get pimples really easily. For me, it was a challenge to look for and try new skincare products because my skin is really tricky. Since I am in a test mode, I have purchased a travel size kit of Ole Henriksen’s ‘The Works’. It comes with 5 different products that fill in your whole day skincare routine. Here are the products from the kit, in the order that I use them (look at the box’s photo for more info): Truth Serum – collagen booster: Use in the morning after rinse. It has a nice orange smell, and is very refreshing! And who doesn’t like …
